How we got our start

About T&C Auto Spa

T&C Auto Spa started out as JELS Auto Detailing in 2007. I purchased the business from Joe Lipnicky when he decided to retire. He originally started JELS in 1988 so I decided at the time to leave the name as JELS to limit the confusion for his long time customers. I trained with joe for about four months in 2006 to make sure I could service his customers with the same quality he had been providing for almost twenty years.I actually started my detailing career much earlier than 2007. Cutting my teeth at my uncles car lot in Indiana . I worked for him every summer from the age of twelve to seventeen. Then I worked for a car care company called Griots Garage based in Tacoma, WA. Griots is a Elite manufacturer and retailer of top notch car care products. Being that Griots products where mainly sold throw a catalog it was imperative for us to be able to understand all of the products and their uses. To achieve in depth knowledge we were put through training and instructional classes to help learn all the ins and outs. We would also put on clinics for our customers that were in the area. I also ran my own small detailing operation in Tacoma for a bit, before deciding to escape the rain and move to Florida.

Now we have been in business ourselves for over ten years and with god willing at least twenty more.
